How to Export a .BMS / BMS.XML File from Mitchell (for Vice ADAS)

Follow these steps to export a .BMS / BMS.XML file from Mitchell Connect. This file can then be uploaded into Vice ADAS to generate your job.

Step-by-step Instructions:

1. Log in to Mitchell.

2. In the left-hand menu, click on Jobs.

3. Select the job you want to export and click Continue Estimate.

4. At the top of the screen, click the dropdown arrow next to Export EMS.

5. Click on View Import/Export Settings.

6. In the popup window, click the BMS Export tab at the top.

7. Click Change to choose a folder where your BMS files will be saved.

   • Choose a folder you’ll remember.

   • (Optional) Check Auto Export if you want Mitchell to save every BMS file to that folder automatically.

8. Click Save at the bottom of the popup.

9. Now click the dropdown next to Export EMS again and choose Export BMS.

10. You’ll see a green message at the top that says "BMS Exported successfully."

11. Go to Vice ADAS and upload the exported .BMS / BMS.XML file to generate your calibration report.
